As a Web BA, you will:

  • Facilitate workshops with ImageX client stakeholders
  • Identify business and functional problems and seek out solutions
  • Elicit and document detailed requirements information from ImageX clients
  • Translate conceptual ideas into technically feasible web solutions, working with the technical architect

Specific activities will include:

  • requirements analysis and review
  • stakeholder interviews
  • user persona and journey identification
  • user story creation with acceptance criteria
  • site map documentation
  • sketching, wireframes, working with UI/UX concepts
  • issue handling and resolution, questions and response, internal and client-facing meetings

As a PM, you will:

  • Manage projects following ImageX’s project management process, employing a hybrid Agile methodology adapted to client needs, including scope, budget and timelines
  • Be accountable to manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and all project deliverables
  • Monitor, track, and report on overall schedule of projects
  • Provide regular reports to all internal and client stakeholders on project status
  • Act as a consultant in client negotiations and presentations, assisting in the up-sell process and creating value
  • Communicate, problem solve and collaborate with team about risks, issues and opportunities
  • Provide suggestions on methodology, processes, and tools to increase team effectiveness
  • Keep the team highly motivated and help us build high levels of client satisfaction
  • Participate in or lead standup meetings, managing the flow of tasks through JIRA

About You:

To be successful in this role you’ll need to be a superior problem solver who’s resourceful, proactive, solution oriented and client focused. We’re looking for someone who can exhibit remarkable foresight to avoid and minimize risk. You’ll also need to have superior organizational abilities and excellent people skills associated with a desire to build ongoing, long-term relationships with our clients.  The ideal candidate is someone who can connect well with others while leveraging their teams’ web/mobile technology expertise. Ability to effectively work on several projects concurrently is a requirement of this position.

You Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or Web Technologies or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management in an Agile environment
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in client-facing business analysis
  • Experience in a web development agency environment
  • Strong understanding of the development of dynamic websites, user experience design principles
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills Superb verbal and written communication skills and exceptional presenter
  • Capable of juggling multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously
  • Relishes the daily challenges and unforeseen changes typically faced in a service agency environment
  • Ability to understand technical as well as business requirements and confident in consulting with clients on best practices or providing viable solutions
  • Able to lead client meetings, express complex information and provide solution options to clients
  • Able to travel across North America approximately 5-10% of the time

Additional Assets:

  • PMP designation and Agile methodology training are preferred
  • Familiarity with CMS technologies (preferably Drupal)
  • Familiarity with web technologies such as PHP/MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
  • Familiarity with development process tools such as Jira
